Passengers must show their boarding cards to be able to purchase duty-free goods. Color Line participates in PETS (Pet Travel Scheme) system allowing pet animals to travel on ferries between European member countries without undergoing quarantine. In 2011, MS Superspeed 2 was converted by STX Europe at the Helsinki shipyard.
